I'm at the San Francisco VA Healthcare system, and I have been working with the Parks Conservancy and Golden Gate National Recreation Area to get Veterans (esp. high physical/mental health need populations). Is the GO Lab available to provide program evaluation support? We are capturing some outcomes, but could benefit from more robust data collection.

30:04
*to get Veterans outdoors.

30:16
Has anyone executed a similar study for nearby nature with similar results? Wondering if we can document physiological impact with a walk in nearby woods, a nearby park.

31:36
Note to second panel presenters - we're going to follow the same format and have everyone present first and hold questions until the end

35:26
Stacy, in addition to the studies, it’d be great if the presenters would be willing to share copies of the PPTs (the data is amazing!)

35:34
We have not yet been able to conduct studies of wellness yet beyond one week.

36:06
Hello all! I’m a design thinking strategist and experience designer (as well as military spouse) interested in working in this realm. Feel free to contact me if you’d like to explore how I can help. Sarah@exploremor.co

36:07
We need funding to be able to do a longer population based study for the work done with Dacher...Nooshin has done a lot of work over time.

36:44
Thanks Sarah!

37:38
Hi Laura. If you have a question, the best way to ask is via the Q&A button. Otherwise we can call on you at the end of this panel

40:06
Yes Janette!

40:07
@Janette H. Yes, we will make these all available

53:27
I’d love to help connect you with resources in Detroit!

57:24

Thank you. Very excited about your work. We would love to replicate your work here in Chicago. Just need to find the leadership.

01:21:15

01:21:28
then we'll go: John, then Lynn, then Peter

01:21:40
Thanks Laura! How best can we get in touch and we can connect you with some of the folks in Chicago.

01:34:39
So there's one location that is public facing.

01:35:06
Children and Nature Network also has an online research library that includes at least abstracts but some articles are behind a pay wall based on the journal.

01:36:27
Same msg as in Q&A window, happy to share more info re: Colorado’s new Leave No Trace program - feel free to reach out janette.heung@state.co.us - we’re going to launch a new health/outdoor initiative in the coming year

01:36:54
(thanks Stacy for sharing the link above!)

01:37:02
Yeah, just thinking Medium seems a bit scattered, but maybe theyd' help organize it and HCN seems focused only on the West--but they've followed this work before. Its a great idea though, we'll follow up and if you have any thoughts or connections we'd love the help!

01:43:06
Dentists and Eye Doctors! Fantastic!!!!

01:43:13
Great work South Dakota!

01:55:59
Thanks Joshua!

01:57:15
I agree that parents can greatly benefit from hearing these results. I think teachers could as well!

01:59:13
To the insurance question: that's the goal of what we want to achieve and part of the reason we started down the research path...but like Bobby said, we can make it happen in cities, counties, and states to make it happen.

01:59:39
We need, like Lynn is discussing---fearless leadership and not being afraid to fail!

02:00:54
Not that we know of--we sort of always assumed our neighbors up North would be telling us what to do on this one!

02:01:02
But how great you get to be in Kamloops!

02:03:06
We haven't yet--but maybe the next position!
